Happy New Year and Welcome Back to St. Agnes Church!

In our reading, God is reminding the people of his promise to send a special person (Jesus), a descendant of David, who will do what is right and treat others with justice.  The world will be saved and Jerusalem will be peaceful.  

In our Gospel, Jesus tells his disciples:  Stay awake, always be ready for you don’t know when a thief is coming to break in and you don’t know when I am coming. 

 

We won't be having a Jesse Tree this year!
