25th Sunday in Ordinary Time
In our reading, Amos was angry with those who, through greed, cheat the poor. He warns them that God sees what they are doing. They need to change their ways.
In our gospel, Jesus is telling us to be honest in small and big things. Jesus tells us we can't work for two bosses at the same time. One will always be more important than the other. Likewise, you cannot serve God and money at the same time. The ten commandments are rules we need to live by every day so we can be happy. The first three commandments tell us how we must love God and the last seven tell us how we must love one another.
