The prophet Sirach tells us we are nourished by the grace of God to follow Jesus but we must choose whether to follow Him or not follow Him.  God doesn’t force or prevent us from following in his ways.  In our gospel, we hear about the 10 commandments.  We must follow them with our whole heart.  Rules aren't always easy to follow but, thankfully, we have the sacrament of reconciliation to help us to start over.
