Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, Year A

We hear about God with three images – God the Father (parent), God the Son (Saviour and brother), and God the Holy Spirit (who lives with us).  Think of it is a person with three different hats (jobs).  Another way to look at the trinity is to think of a shamrock with 3 parts – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 

 

In our reading, Paul tells us that because we live in the Holy Spirit, and because we are brothers and sisters of Jesus, we are children of God.  We, too, can enjoy the intimate relationship that Jesus has with " Abba".   We are all part of God's Family.

 

In our gospel, we are called to preach, baptize, and teach others.
